| Annotation | On the basis of the analysis of the administrative acts that determine the legal status of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the author investigates the content of the categories «system» and «structure of the border guard department»; specifies the place of the State Border Guard Service as an element of the apparatus of the state executive authority; concludes that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is a complex system the structure of which is determined by the principal functions to guarantee the inviolability of the state border and protection of the sovereign rights of Ukraine in its exclusive maritime economic zone. |
