| Abstract | The development of the institution of the right to land in Galicia as part of Austria and Austro-Hungary (1772–1918) is studied in the article. Special attention is focused on the analysis of the regulation of land relations under the Austrian Civil Code of 1811. The issues of implementation of land ownership in Galicia in the period of study is outlined. |
