Annotation | Based on the analysis of the constitutional and judicial practice and application of the powers of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine the author suggests criteria for its exclusive competence in. The doctrine covers not only the axiology of legal understanding of constitutional control, but also the competence of the Court's official interpretation of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, which confirms the special role of constitutional justice in public life and society. In the analysis of judicial practice author places greater importance on identification of the subject of constitutional review and the need for its expansion in all areas of constitutional relationships, aimed at protecting human rights and freedoms, constitutional government, democracy, ensuring social functions of the state and other constitutional values that are priorities in constitutional thinking |
