The article considers the importance of international contracts and other international acts for the effective operation of the arbitration institution, analyses the main provisions of the Law of Ukraine On International Commercial Arbitration and the Rules of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as to the procedure of the arbitral proceedings, rendering of an arbitral award, termination of the arbitral proceedings.
