It was considered the basic research directions in the field of comparative jurisprudence during the process of its formation and development. The analysis shows that the entire history of the formation and development of comparative jurisprudence — is a constant exploration of the new areas of research, because it is a dynamic scientific area is at the forefront of challenges which reflect the appropriate state of social development and which requires an adequate scientific understanding. There were also defined the modern dimensions of its research under the drastic changes of social life, which determine the transformation of object and subject of the jurisprudence in general and in comparative jurisprudence in particular.
