Annotation | The article considers the possibilities of strengthening comparative studies at legal faculties. It stresses that Legal Comparativistics consists of Comparative Jurisprudence, Comparative State Studies, Comparative Political Science and each discipline is very important for legal education. Elements of Comparative Jurisprudence may be traced in different disciplines for bachelors: in Theory of State of Law, History of State and Law of the Foreign Countries. The same is with Comparative State Studies. Comparative Political Science is necessary to teach as a part of General Political Science. Special courses devoted to the law of a concrete foreign country is also very important as course in European Law. For master programme the main elements are the obligatory course of Comparative Jurisprudence and comparative branch law disciplines (such as Comparative Criminal Law, Comparative Civil Law, etc.). One of the key proposals – to exchange teachers in Comparative Jurisprudence from different countries and universities and to organize brief international seminars. |
