| Annotation | The article devotes features of the category «interest» in the Roman family law and mechanisms of interests protection of family relationships. Reseacheat that in Roman law marriage cum manu has defended the interests of men, was characterized by the most extensive of their rights with respect to family wealth. Circle of protected interests of wife was limited. Sine manu almost tried to balance the interests and rights of spouses in marriage. In terms of protecting the interests defined three types of contractual structures in family relations in Roman law: agreements which releated to marriage, agreements, which related to the mode property of the husband and wife in marriage and marital agreements, which determined the amount and quality of dowry and premarital gift. |
