| Annotation | Given the study of scientific literature and practice the essence and concept of application of expert knowledge are analyzed in the article. The author describes existing scientific approaches to understanding the concept of expert knowledge, determines defects thereof and gives definition of the concept. Attention in the article is paid to the forms of application of expert knowledge in criminal investigation. So far, no uniform systematization of forms of application of expert knowledge exists. Although in science the distinction between procedural and non-procedural forms of application of expert knowledge is contested, the author considers that such systematization deserves to exist. |
