Annotation | The article studies the issues of relationship between people’s power and efficiency of public governance. The author points out that the fundamental principle of ensuring good governance in the state is the realization of the effective power of the people, as well as lack of conflict between the interests of the people and the government. Given the subject of constituent power in the state, the issues of democratic state can be considered. Attention is drawn to the fact that the people as a subject of constituent power in the state should be the only/primary party in the constitutional process. Local authorities and government should also be monitored by the people through constitutional or statutory forms of democracy. |
