| Annotation | The article constitutes general overview of the implementation of lustration legal procedures of cleansing public authority in Europe after the downfall of communist regimes, as well as the latest domestic experience in this field. European principles of lustration procedures developed by scientists and enshrined in official documents are studied. The necessity of combination of state and public cleansing procedures of the government is emphasized. The experience of establishment and activity of the Kharkiv Public Lustration Chamber as an institution of civil society, which is aimed at cleansing and renewal of local public authorities is outlined. |
