| Annotation | This article is devoted to the scientific research of contemporary state of legal regulation between the European Union and Ukraine in the field of Association Agreement, which may be signed by the end of the year. The main stages of the legislation development are defined. In addition, it is mentioned that Ukraine adopts regulations in the sphere of European integration and endeavors to get the approval of the Agreement by the European Union. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the legal basis of the regulation of public procurement within the framework of Association Agreement. In particular, the analysis of the provisions of Chapter 8 is conducted. The Chapter stipulates mutual access to markets on the basis of the principle of national treatment at all levels, which requires adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in this area to the EU acquis; certain institutional reforms and creation of effective public procurement system based on the principles, concepts and definitions from the EU Directives are expected. Moreover, an emphasis is placed on the provisions of the corresponding Annexes to the Agreement that clearly defines the milestones of the acquis' key elements implementation. |
