| Annotation | Two vectors in Ukraine's foreign policy have generated a political problem of two-vector economic integration and a legal problem for coexistence of integration forms. In legal terms, there is no obstacle for coexistence of such forms of integration as a customs union and a free trade area on different vectors of Ukraine's foreign trade, based on the standard requirements of the WTO. However, due to existence of certain laws of Ukraine on Western vector priority, acceptability of specific forms of Eastern vector must be assessed in terms of the legal systems of the EU and Ukraine, Ukraine's commitments under the WTO, as well as the peculiarities of the EU — Ukraine FTA. |
