| Annotation | In the article an issue of interpretation of the notion «social state» is raised as far as Ukraine is proclaimed to be a «social state» according to Article 1 of the Constitution. Comparative analysis of the interpretation of this notion by Ukrainian scholars as well as by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine — on the one hand, and by German legal thought and German judiciary — on the other, is presented. |
