| Annotation | Theoretical issues on in absentia (special) criminal proceedings are analyzed. Issues of appeal judgments delivered in such proceedings are identified. The relation between appeal judgments delivered in criminal proceedings in absentia and general order of appeal is considered. Subjects entitled to appeal judgments delivered in special criminal proceedings are determined. The subject and scope of such appeal are outlined. The author’s position on limitation of the right to appeal judgments delivered in criminal proceedings in absentia is formulated. The proposals for further reform of legal regulation of an appellate procedure of judgments delivered in absentia (special) criminal proceedings are made. |
