| Annotation | In this article collected and ordered the available information on the state of human rights in penitentiary institutions. It was used a wide range of sources, including current legislation of Ukraine, international legal acts ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the work of leading scholars. Particular attention is paid to the ratio of national legislation and international norms. The paper presents recommendations for possible solutions to the problems highlighted. |
