The article is devoted to the analysis of the connection between the guarantee ing the constitutional right to life and other related rights in modern conditions. New threats and obstacles for realization of these rights are set as the consequences of intensification of the biotechnological activity. Danger for human life and health from spreading of transgenic organ isms is also substantiated in the article. The greater emphasis is placed on illumination of arguments against development and spreading of genetically modified organisms. State of the legal regulation of the biotechnological activity results in Ukraine is also elucidated in the article. In accordance with the study of objectives the author developed proposals for the Ukrainian national legislation improvement and the list of other necessary measures, which may be the basis for the solution of problems caused by applying into life the results of biotechnology activities.
