Annotation

In article sources of criminal law are considered, are allocated, from the point of view of their legallistic properties those which are normative legal acts, contain norms of criminal law and taking into account their validity are laws of Ukraine on a criminal responsibility. It is offered to subdivide sources of criminal law into the main and subsidiary. Treat the main: The constitution of Ukraine, the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on illegality of norms of criminal law, the international contracts to which it is agreed by the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine, laws on a criminal responsibility, defining and basic among which is the Criminal code of Ukraine. Subsidiary sources do not contain norms of criminal law per se, are normative legal acts of other branch accessory. Norms or elements of these acts join in contents of the law on a criminal responsibility as additional (blanket dispositions), submit to it and carry out the specific auxiliary and concretizing functions in criminal and legal regulation.
