The article describes basic terminology, concepts of human rights, which serve the methodological tools for research. Firstly, the initial category of fundamental human rights, in particular its definition, which was formulated by the author at the Law Faculty of the University of Lviv in the early 90s of the last century is substantiated. Secondly, a number of terminological and epistemological issues that arise in the course of such research are analyzed. And thirdly, the issues of a possible bearer, the subject of fundamental rights, in particular collective entities, are discussed. Some of the views of S. Holovatyi outlined in the previous issue of the Journal «Law of Ukraine» are criticized. |
