| Annotation |
The article is dedicated to the urgent problems of system and structure of the administrative-territorial division of Ukraine. On the basis of the national and foreign experience preconditions for the formation of models of administrative-territorial division and trends of further modernization are analyzed. Correlation of the categories «territorial division» and «administrative-territorial division» are researched. The system of administrative-territorial division of Ukraine and its internal construction are defined. The constitutional and legal description of the administrative units is carried out. The problems of improving the system of administrative-territorial division of Ukraine in the context of constitutional initiatives of the President of Ukraine targeted at decentralization and territorial structure of public authorities and local self-government reform are investigated. |
